Author Tomoki Izumi has shared an update on Twitter after receiving numerous questions about whether his “ Mieruko-chan ” manga has already ended. Izumi wrote: « Many people seem to think that 'Mieruko-chan' has ended, I wonder why. Investigating I discovered that Google terminates it for no reason .

“Mieruko-chan” is still in active serialization and is, in fact, on an impactful narrative arc today. The story follows Miko Yotsuya, a student able to see monsters and spirits that others cannot see. Although she tries to ignore these visions to lead a normal life, she finds herself involved in increasingly dangerous and supernatural situations.

The manga has gained popularity for its unique blend of horror and comedy, as well as the charismatic main character of Miko. Izumi's ability to mix moments of horror with touches of humor has resonated with readers, making “Mieruko-chan” an exciting and often surprising read.

In addition to the manga, the series also had an anime adaptation that premiered three years ago. Despite its positive reception, fans have been waiting for news about a second season, which has yet to be announced. The question about a continuation of the anime arose again among fans after confusion over the status of the series on Google.

Izumi has not commented on a second season of the anime in her latest update, but fans continue to show interest and support for both the manga and the animated adaptation. Meanwhile, the “Mieruko-chan” manga continues to captivate readers with its unique atmosphere and unexpected twists, proving to be a work that continues to capture the imagination of fans of the supernatural genre.
