Jujutsu Kaisen fans celebrate a long-awaited return

This article includes spoilers for the “Jujutsu Kaisen” manga. Reader discretion is advised.

As previously reported, the story of the “
Jujutsu Kaisen ” manga is only five chapters away from ending. With the final battle between the Jujutsu Sorcerers and the King of Curses at its peak and even beyond, some fans had been wondering if Gege Akutami, the author of the franchise, would have enough time to resolve all the unknowns .

From shocking viral moments like the death of Satoru Gojo, to exciting combat sequences, the final battle of “Jujutsu Kaisen” has delivered a lot. However, we mention again that the series still has a plethora of unanswered questions. In addition to the criticized "Sukuna Cycle", where a new character came to face the ultimate villain and lost his life, it is indisputable that, regardless of how "Jujutsu Kaisen" ends, the legacy is already built and definitively stands as one of the greatest representatives of current battle shonen.

But what surprise could Gege Akutami have had that would make us talk about this manga again? Well, it turns out that the leaks of the most recent chapter (yes, the publisher Shueisha still has not learned its lesson and continues to "trust" that the copies of the magazine that will be published next week in Japan will not leak from the bookstores that distribute them and who receive them ahead of time), confirmed the return of Nobara Kugisaki, the member of the protagonist trio who had been absent for years.

As fans will well know, Nobara apparently died in Chapter 143 published in March-2021. This means that her character had not been heard from for over three years, so many readers had already given up on the possibility of her returning. Even the franchise's Wikis already listed her status as “Deceased,” precisely because of all the silence there was about her condition.

There are some other revelations in this new leaked chapter, but definitely the return of Nobara Kugisaki was what caught the most attention on social networks:

  • Me watching how Gege kills Choso and Kenjaku, but brings back Nobara mid ."
  • That? No, it's not true, I don't believe it, this must be false, don't give me false illusions .
  • « Until you give us a smile, I hate you Gege ».
  • They told me I couldn't, they underestimated me, they made fun of me ."
  • « Naruto was crucified for less ."
  • That? Really? If it's true I won't leave anime, I swear ."
  • « By the way, Nobara is alive, but didn't Mahito modify her soul? Or did Kenjaku save her? ».
  • « She would have stayed dead better, I'm not convinced that she has come back, it was that she stayed very stiff, but oh well ."
  • « Damn, Itadori after defeating Sukuna doesn't have to take long to get Nobara pregnant and all ."
  • « Author without balls, as always happens in Weekly Shonen Jump ».
  • « Honestly, I have no idea what I should feel .»
  • « With this he already knocked down his work, mediocre from start to finish ."
  • « I'm breaking my egg, it's impossible that the shitty fake edits were right and that I would have a patch .»
