to a leak shared by the specialized account SugoiLite, the comedy
manga High School! Kimengumi, created by Motoei Shinzawa,
will have a remake in anime format to commemorate the 45th
anniversary from its original serialization.
The
work High School! Kimengumi debuted in Weekly Shonen
Jump during the 1980s, establishing itself as one of the most popular
school comedies of its time. Its absurd tone and cast of extravagant characters
marked a generation, combining parody humor and references to the Japanese
student context.
Remake
in development
While
details about the new project have not yet been officially revealed, the leak
suggests that the remake would currently be in production. The project is
expected to be officially presented on Friday, October 17, in an announcement
that the Fuji Television television station has prepared for its Noitamina
programming block.
The project
will commemorate the 45 years of manga, whose impact on Japanese
