The
official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels A Tale of
the Secret Saint, written by Touya and illustrated
by chibi, confirmed new cast members and announced that the series
will premiere in April 2026. The production is in charge of
the Felix Film studio.
Among the
additions are Tasuku Hatanaka as Desmond Ronan, Daiki
Hamano as Zachary Townsend and Tomokazu Sugita as
Quintin Agata. The previously revealed cast includes Shion Wakayama as
Fia Ruud, Shinnosuke Tokudome as Zavilia, Yuichiro
Umehara as Saviz Nav, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Cyril
Sutherland.

Equipment
The
direction is in charge of Tomoe Makino, with Naoki Murata as
assistant director. Deko Akao oversees the scripts,
while Satomi Kurita designs the characters. The music is
composed by Kenichiro Suehiro and the sound direction is
by Ryosuke Naya.
Origin
and trajectory of the work
The story
debuted in January 2019 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform. Earth
Star Entertainment subsequently began its print publication in June
2019. The manga, by Mahito Aobe, began in November 2019 in Comic
Earth Star magazine.
The
franchise reached more than 3.5 million copies in circulation. In
addition, the novels ranked second in the Tankobon and Novel categories in
the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guide in both the 2024 and 2025
editions.
