Get your
fists ready and emotional stability, because Takemichi's time travel is going
to get a lot uglier. The production committee finally released the second
trailer for the long-awaited War of the Three Titans arc
of Tokyo Revengers, and things look brutal. With this new trailer,
it is very confirmed that the gang massacre will return to our screens this
coming October 2026, just in time to dominate the fall season.
Although
the staff usually keeps some cards up their sleeves, it is a fact that the same
animation studio that brought us the past seasons will continue to be in charge
of the blocks. This ensures that they will maintain that raw and urban
aesthetic that defines the series so much. This new arc promises to throw the
house out of the window, putting the crying but brave Takemichi in the middle
of a three-way war where the old loyalties of the Toman are no longer worth
anything and betrayals are the order of the day.
About
Tokyo Revengers
In case
you've been living under a rock these past few years, the story from Ken
Wakui's mind introduces us to Takemichi Hanagaki, an absolute loser
who one day discovers he can travel back in time to his high school years. Its
original mission? Infiltrate the Tokyo Manji Gang and avoid at all costs the
future murder of his ex-girlfriend Hinata.
What began
as a simple rescue mission quickly escalated into a huge tangle of temporal
paradoxes, traumatic deaths and bare-knuckle fights between high school
students who hit harder than professional boxers. This new Three Deities arc is
undoubtedly one of the darkest, bloodiest, and most hopeless stretches in all
of shonen.
