The feature film will be released in theaters in Japan simultaneously with the movie Ganbareiwa !! Robo with next July 31, however, Toei added that this date is subject to change.
The manga began to be published in 2008. The Asahi Shimbun newspaper through its printing press has published 70 volumes of the series until last February 20. The manga emerged in South Korea, written by Gomdori Co., and illustrated by Hyun-Dong Han. In Japan, the series has sold more than 9 million copies, and 30 million worldwide.
Previously, Toei produced a 100-second animation short for the manga and released it in March 2019. At that time, the Mantan Web site of the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper listed it as a pilot movie.
