Strike the Blood spin-off manga ends Kochira Saikai Gakuen Chuuto-bu

The digital version of the latest issue of Denadoki Bunko Magazine from Kadokawa publisher published the final chapter of Ryuryuu Akari's spin-off manga, Strike the Blood Kochira Saikai Gakuen Chuuto-bu.


The yonkoma manga (four panels) started being published by Akari in October 2016, and was a spin-off series based on Gakuto Mikumo's light novels, Strike the Blood. The Kadokawa publishing house published the first compilation volume on January 20.

The spin-off manga series focuses on the daily and school lives of Yukina, Nagisa, and Kanon as high school students.

Akari made his debut in the doujin industry with the spin-off manga Lucky Star: Pocket Travelers released in 2007. The author also wrote the five-volume manga Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Ryouran Sangokushi Engi, as well as a spin-off series based on in Accel World.

About Strike the Blood

The original Gakuto Mikumo series of light novels, Strike the Blood has been published since May 2011 with illustrations by Manyako through the Dengeki Bunko imprint, and a total of 20 volumes have been released to date.


The play inspired its first anime adaptation released in October 2013, and which featured 24 episodes produced by Silver Link and Connect studios. However, the series has since featured only OVA seasons released in 2016, 2018, and 2020.

The anime Strike the Blood IV, which will have six video releases, each with two episodes, is currently "on-air". The first was released on April 8, while the following are scheduled for June 24, September 30, December 23, March 24, 2021, and June 30, 2021.
