Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu premiere canceled on YouTube

Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu light novels also known as How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, it was revealed that the premiere of the series on YouTube was canceled because this production it violates several of the rules that the popular video platform uses for its content. Originally, the anime was to be streamed for free through the Full Anime TV channel from April 30 to May 6.


Aside from fickle YouTube regulations, not all is lost for fans of this sexy fantasy series as members of the Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu production team will be looking for a new alternative so they can enjoy the series as contemplated.


The series adapts light novels written by Yukiya Murasaki and illustrated by Takahiro Tsurusaki, who began publishing through Kadokawa Publishing in December 2014. The publisher has published a total of twelve volumes to date.

The first season of Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu premiered in Japan in July 2018 and featured twelve episodes. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Naoto Fukuda has been in publication since June 2015, and the Kodansha publishing house has published ten compilation volumes to date.
