The event was scheduled to take place on June 7, and the cancellation was decided taking into consideration preventive measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Japan, as well as protect the health of attendees, artists, actors and all parties involved. Consequently, the advance sale of tickets for a scheduled nightly event was also canceled.
In the statement, the staff offered an apology for any inconvenience this decision may have caused and will begin to issue refunds of tickets sold in advance starting May 23.
Furthermore, the series premiered on January 4 under the production of Shaft Studios, directed by Gekidan Inu Curry, who also wrote the scripts while assisted by Yukihiro Miyamoto, the director of the original series. The anime had thirteen episodes and confirmed the production of a second season, for which no new details have been revealed.

Synopsis of Magic Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Gaiden
The story of the game takes place in the city of Kamihama. There, guided by a strange power, magical girls gather to fight each other and get a new power from the witches. Iroha Tamaki arrives in the city and joins the rest of the girls in order to search for her younger sister Ui, who has disappeared. It doesn't take long for Homura Akemi to appear, who aspires to understand the mystery behind the city in order to save Kaname.
