The adaptation was carried out by Studio Gokumi under the direction of Hiroshi Ikehata and scripts written by Shigeru Murakoshi. The synopsis is described as follows:
"The Survival of the Fittest", this comic story takes place in an animal school, where the students' curriculum is based on this theory. The lonely human of the class (who also hates animals) and the lonely wolf girl meet… and this starts their crazy new school life!
