The series went on indefinite hiatus since May 13, 2019 due to Nanba applying for maternity leave. The play will resume with a chapter to the main story and a one-shot with a side story.
For her part, Nanba began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine in August 2018. The publisher published the second compilation volume in May 2019.
