The statement did not reveal details about the causes of the delay, and merely mentioned that it was "for production-related causes." For its part, the anime premiered in Japan on October 2 and will last four arcs, that is, 50 episodes. Hinata began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in December 2003 and is still in publication. The publisher published the fifty-first (51st) compilation volume in June 2019.
