The statement cited "changes in the manga buyers market" and the need to "respond to current needs" as the reasons for the decision. As always, the magazine will be published monthly every 15th of the month.
Nihonbungeisha publishing house began serializing Manga Goraku Special magazine in May 2013 under the title Weekly Manga Goraku Zoukan, a supplement to Weekly Manga Goraku magazine. He later changed his name to the current one in March 2014, when he replaced the recently completed Bessatsu Manga Goraku magazine, and inherited many of the series that were published there.
