Showtaro Morikubo publishes the music video for the single “WAY OUT”

A music video for singer and voice actor Showtaro Morikubo's fourteenth single, titled "WAY OUT", was posted on the official channel of the Lantis record company. This single is scheduled to be released in Japan on September 16.


This will be his second single released this year, as his thirteenth single titled “I'm Nobody” was released on July 22nd. This song was used as the ending theme song for the original P.A.Works studio anime Appare-Ranman !.

About Showtaro Morikubo

He is a voice actor and singer born in Tokyo Prefecture in 1974 and currently affiliated with the Add9th representation agency. Morikubo debuted in the voice acting industry since 1996 and has been recognized for multiple roles such as Takahisa Tajima in 11eyes, Shikaramu Nara in Naruto, Taishi Miwa in Cardfight !! Vanguard, Souji Okita in Hakuoki, Garou Honda in Major, Orphen in Majutsushi Orphen, Kyouji Akatasuki in Starmyu, among other roles.

Regarding his personal life, Morikubo was married to the voice actress Yuu Asakawa between 2007 and 2009. Later in 2014, he announced his marriage to a woman not related to the entertainment industry, and in 2017 he announced the birth of his first daughter.
