Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag Game Celebrates Its Fourth Anniversary

The Sword Art Online franchise smartphone game, titled Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag is celebrating its fourth anniversary (in Japan) since its launch, and in commemoration they have released a special video in which the voice actors of Kirito and Eugeo they become manga artists.


A behind-the-scenes video was also posted in conjunction with the promo video, starring voice actors Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito's voice) and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Eugeo's voice), stepping into their characters from manga cartoonists.


About Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag

It is a game for smartphones that was announced during a live broadcast on June 27, 2016. It was subsequently released in Japan on August 22, 2016 for Android and on August 30 of the same year for iOS devices.

The installment is an RPG for smartphones that allows the player to relive the events of the hit anime and light novel series, accompanying Kirito, Asuna and all their favorite characters from the franchise. Based on the original story, the game allows users to control a group of characters.
