OsaMake anime reveals new trailer and visuals

During a special panel held at the KADOKAWA Light Novel EXPO 2020 event, a new promotional video was revealed for the anime adaptation of the comedy-romance light novels written by Shuichi Nimaru and illustrated by Ui Shigure, Osanananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy (The Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose! or also Osamake). In the video you can hear what will be the opening theme for the series "Chance! & Revenge!", which is performed by Japanese singer Riko Azuna.

A new visual for the series was also released.

The series will premiere on April 14 on Japanese TV stations. On the other hand, Shuichi Nimaru and Ui Shigure began publishing the Osamake light novels in June 2019 through the Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint of Kadokawa publishing house. A manga adaptation is being handled by Ryou Itou, who has been publishing it in Kadokawa Publishing's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since November 2019.

Synopsis of Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy

My childhood friend, Kuroha Shida, seems to have feelings for me. She lives next door and is small and cute. With an outgoing character, she's a "caring older sister" type, this being one of her greatest strengths... But, I already have my first love, our school's beautiful idol and award-winning author, Shirokusa Kachi! Thinking about it rationally, I shouldn't have a chance with her, but, while walking home from school, she just talks to me, even with a smile! Actually, I might have a chance, don't you think?

Or so I thought, but then I heard that Shirokusa already has a boyfriend, and my life took a turn for the worse. I want to die. Why isn't it me?! Even though she was my first love... As I was drowning in despair and depression, Kuroha whispered, "If it's so hard for you, how about revenge? The best revenge of all time, that's it".
