Although the third season of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime , titled as Kaguya-sama: Love is War – Ultra Romantic has already ended, the final episode is still a topic of discussion among fans. Reddit user u/aufaa_rafi recently shared an edit of the kiss scene between Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane, shown in the final episode of this third season.
The edit cuts out all the interruptions that were made in the scene, since that was not really the case in the original manga. In the original Aka Akasaka story , the kiss occurs continuously in "Chapter 136", while all of Chika Fujiwara, Miko Iino, Yuu Ishigami and Maki Shijou's subplots unfold in "Chapter 137" to complement and close the School Festival Arc. What the anime adaptation did was mix both chapters, interrupting the kiss scene multiple times to show what was going on with the other characters in the meantime.
The author of the edition wrote: « Hello, I am the author of this edition. I would love the original kiss scene (I like it so much it makes me watch it countless times). But I think it would be better if the kiss scene didn't have any breaks. Therefore, I have made this “rearranged kiss scene”. What do you think? ».
