Through the official YouTube channel for the production company Aniplex, a new promotional video was shared for the anime adaptation of the comedy and romance manga written and illustrated by Fumita Yanagida , Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko! ( Tomo-chan Is a Girl! ). In this new advance it is announced that the series will premiere on January 4, 2023 on television stations in Japan. It should be remembered that this project will be distributed in the West through Crunchyroll.
It was also revealed in this new trailer that the ending theme song will be titled “yurukuru＊love” and will be performed by voice actresses Rie Takahashi , Rina Hidaka , and Sally Amaki.
A new promotional image for the series was also shared.
Yanagida began publishing the manga in April 2015 in Saizensen 's magazine, and ended it in July 2019 with a total of eight compiled book volumes published under Kodansha 's umbrella .
