On the official site for the new original anime from the production company DMM and the Asahi Production studios , Ars no Kyojuu ( Giant Beats of Ars ), the first main promotional video for the project was published. The video confirms that the premiere remains scheduled for January 6, 2023 in Japan.
More members of the voice cast were also revealed, including:
- Asami Seto as Tsurugi, an Imperial general.
- Wakana Kuramochi as Sharuto, ayudante de Tsurugi.
- Ryouta Takeuchi as Facade, a dual sword fighter who has lost his memories.
- Mayu Aoyagi as Touka.
- Kenichi Ogata as Zen, a sword fighter.
- Atsushi Tamaru as Mezami, Kuumi's relentless pursuer.
- Takayuki Saigo as Bakura, the mysterious agent of the empire.
Synopsis of Ars no Kyojuu
The story takes place in a time of swords, heroes and myths. Giant beasts created the land, but then humans stole it. This angered the beasts, which began to eat the humans. To defend themselves, humans invoked the gods. The Kyojuu beasts began to spread across the world, causing great damage, but the humans fought back by hunting down the Kyojuu. Mankind also prospered by using the stuffed parts of beasts. Jiiro is “a man who has escaped death”, and he hunts Kyojuu for a living. He meets “Kuumi Twenty-Two”, who is being chased by someone. Jiro and his friends then begin to discover the secrets of this world.
