The Pokémon Company issued a press release announcing that the new anime of the Pokémon franchise will be titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series (Pokémon Horizons). The statement also included a new promotional video, which confirms that the premiere is scheduled for April 14 in Japan with a one-hour special and shows the opening theme titled " Dokimeki Diary ", performed by Asmi and Chinozo.
Previously, it had already been indicated that this series would premiere in 2023 "and beyond", starring Sprigatito , Fuecoco and Quaxly from the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet video games . The expression "and beyond" implies that this new series is slated to be long-running, serving as a new lead story, but no longer starring Ash Ketchum.
Synopsis of Pokémon Horizons: The Series
In this series, Liko and Rod set out to visit Paldea and have various adventures in the company of their Pokémon and Professor Friede, this being the first series to not have Ash Ketchum as the protagonist.
