Through the official website for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Aki Hamaji , Bocchi the Rock! , it was announced that the series will have a compilation tape that will be released during the spring of 2024 with which Kessoku Band fans will have the opportunity to relive the most outstanding moments of the series on the big screen. Hamaji began publishing the manga through Houbunsha 's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine in December 2017. The publisher published the fourth compiled volume in August 2022, followed by the fifth on November 26 in Japan.

Hitori Gotou is a high school girl who starts learning to play the guitar because she dreams of being in a band, but she's so shy that she hasn't made a single friend.
