On the official site for the upcoming original anime from Kadokawa and TROYCA studios , Overtake! , a new promotional video for the project was revealed. The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for next October in Japan , and confirms production details.
Synopsis for Overtake!
The anime will focus on the motorsport Formula 4 (F4). Freelance photographer Kouya Madoka is on a rough patch for a specific reason. He goes to Fuji International Speedway to work on a report and meets Haruka Asahina, a high school F4 driver. Suddenly, his heart races after not feeling anything for a long time. With this, he begins to support Haruka and the youth team "Komaki Motors" to help Haruka achieve his dreams.
