On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written by
Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata , Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead , it was finally admitted that the project is experiencing production problems. Consequently, there will not be a new episode of the series on September 10 , so the schedule has been as follows:

  • August 27: Episode 6.
  • September 3: Episode 7.
  • September 10: Suspension.
  • September 17: Episode 8.
  • September 24: Episode 9.
  • October 1 onwards: To be confirmed.

The series was scheduled to broadcast its final episode (episode 12) on October 1, however the delays have caused this final episode to also delay its broadcast date. It should be noted that Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead would already conflict with the Fall-2023 (October-December) season premieres on television , so they are still not sure what dates in October they will broadcast the rest of the season. the episodes of the series.

Remember when BUG FILMS dropped the hint at OLM studios (the logo is practically identical) in the first episode? Putting the logo of a studio on an exploitative company (in the context of the story) must have been premeditated, were the production problems also expected (which surely bring the same level of exploitation with them)?

The series has been broadcast since July 9 in Japan and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, while the services Crunchyroll , Hulu and Netflix are in charge of its distribution in the West. For their part, Haro Aso and Kotaro Takata began publishing the manga through Shogakukan 's Sunday GX magazine in October 2018.

Sinopsis of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

In a trash-filled apartment, 24-year-old Akira Tendou watches a zombie movie with lifeless, envious eyes. After spending three hard years in a sweatshop in Japan, his spirit is broken. He doesn't even have the courage to confess his feelings to Ohtori, his beautiful co-worker. Then one morning, he bumps into his landlord having lunch - who turns out to be another tenant! The whole city is infested with zombies and even though he is running for his life from it, Akira has never felt so alive.
