On the official site for the anime adaptation of the
novels written by Honobu Yonezawa , “ How to Become
Ordinary ( Shoushimin )”, a new promotional video
for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the premiere is
scheduled for July 6 in Japan , and shows a fragment of the musical
themes, which include:
- EVE will perform the opening theme titled “Sweet Memory,” while Ammo will perform the ending theme titled “Itokenai.”
It is worth mentioning that, specifically, the anime
will adapt the stories “The Case of the Springtime Limited-Edition
Strawberry Tart ” and “ The Case of the Summertime
Limited-Edition Tropical Parfait ” . . . .
On the other hand, Honobu Yonezawa began
publishing the novels through the Tokyo Sogensha publishing
house in December 2004, beginning with the story “ The Case of the
Springtime Limited-Edition Strawberry Tart ”, followed by “ The
Case of the Summertime Limited -Edition Tropical Parfait ” in April
2006; and then for “ The Case of the Autumn-time Limited-Edition
Candied Chestnuts and Sweet Potatoes ” and “ The Mystery of
the Paris Macaron ”, totaling four volumes to date. Additionally, a
fifth volume titled “ The Case of the Wintertime Limited-Edition
Chocolate Bonbons ” was released in April 2024.
Sinopsis of How to Become Ordinary
“Let us help each other and aspire to
become perfect ordinary citizens.” Kobato, who once had a bitter experience
with the deductive activities known as “wisdom work,” was determined to become
an upright and humble citizen. He secretly formed a reciprocal relationship
with his classmate Osanai, who shared the same aspiration, planning to debut in
high school as ordinary citizens and lead peaceful days. However, for some
reason, mysterious incidents and misfortunes occur in his school life. Will
Kobato and Osanai be able to achieve peaceful days as ordinary citizens?
