A new
promotional video for the project has been revealed on the official
website for the anime adaptation of Yuuki Kimikawa 's light
novels " Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! ( Tsuihousha
Shokudou e Youkoso! )". The video confirms that the premiere
is scheduled for the Summer-2025 period (July-September) , and reveals
production details and the voice cast.
Yuuki
Kimikawa began
publishing the story through the independent service Shousetsuka ni
Narou in 2018, and OVERLAP has been publishing it in
print with illustrations by Gaou since 2019. A manga
adaptation by Tsumumi has been published through the same
publisher's Comic Gardo service since 2019 .

Stabbed
in the back by those he considered friends, Dennis has been banished from one
of the strongest guilds: the Silver Wings Battalion. However, he doesn't think
much of it, as he was dying to use his level 99 cooking skills anyway. So he
decides to leave the city behind and open a restaurant in the countryside.
While pursuing his dream, Dennis meets Atrielle, a girl exiled from her noble
house and relegated to slavery until he saves her.
The two
open the restaurant together, and their first customer is... an exiled knight
from another guild? How peculiar. But she's not the only customer; a
conceited wizard and a drastically overworked and underpaid sage also become
regulars. Sometimes the knight brings trouble to the restaurant, but Dennis's
culinary skills and his beloved butcher knives put an end to trouble and hunger
alike. Thus begins the legend of Dennis and his café, the talk of the town!
