The most
fabulous boys in anime are back! Following the previous announcement confirming the production of a
new series for the " Cute High Earth Defense Club ( Binan
Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu )" franchise, titled " Binan
Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Haikara! ", exciting new details about
this long-awaited installment have finally been revealed.
According
to the most recent update, the anime will premiere on July 7 in Japan,
celebrating the franchise's tenth anniversary. In addition to the date, the second
promotional visual, a new trailer (PV), the voice actors for the various teams
in the story, and even the musical themes that will accompany the series were
revealed.
The
story now revolves around the boys of Binan High School's Kurotama Dormitory,
who are part of a group called Haikara Romandan. They will be performing the opening theme
song, "Haikara de GO!!," which can already be heard in part in the
new trailer. The antagonist group was also introduced: the members of
the "Bangara Shin'eitai," a student council group seeking to conquer
Earth. They will be performing the ending theme song, "Zankou in
Your Eyes."
In the
new visual, the trio of villains can be seen alongside a mysterious prairie dog
named Kyan, who is apparently manipulating them from the shadows. Additionally, it was announced
that starting April 20 at 10:00 PM (JST), select episodes of previous Binan
Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu series will be available on YouTube for free. And as if
that weren't enough, the five Haikara Romandan actors will star in a live show
that will air biweekly starting in July, with a special first broadcast in
June.
"Binan
Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Haikara!" continues under the direction and sound
direction of Shinji Takamatsu, who has helmed the entire franchise, including
the most recent film, Eternal Love!. Studio Deen is once again handling
the animation. So get ready for more fabulous transformations, cute
boys, and absurd villains this summer.
- The "Cute High Earth
Defense Club (Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu)" franchise began as an
original anime created by Kurari Umatani and produced by Diomedea studio,
which premiered during the Winter 2015 season. Since then, it has grown
considerably with multiple sequels and animated films that expanded the
universe of magical boys.
- In addition to the anime, the
franchise also has a spin-off manga titled "Binan Kokou Chikyuu
Seifuku-bu Love!", which has been published through Pony Canyon's
digital service since October 2014. This story offers an alternative
perspective in which the protagonists seek to conquer the world instead of
defending it.
- This was followed by a
novelization written by Natsuko Takahashi, as well as a smartphone video
game, which allowed fans to interact with the characters and experience
additional adventures in the world of Binan Koukou.
- The story of Cute High Earth
Defense Club revolves around five high school students who just want to
hang out quietly in the Kurotama public bathhouse. But their plans
change completely when a strange pink wombat appears out of nowhere and
grants them magical powers, forcing them to become "Battle
Lovers," a kind of magical boys tasked with protecting love on Earth.
