The anime
adaptation of Yuuto Suzuki 's Sakamoto Days manga
has revealed a new promotional trailer that previews its second part ,
which will premiere on July 14, 2025 in Japan, that is,
at 5:00 p.m. (UTC+2) in Spain. The preview highlights the new
opening song titled "Method" , performed by the rock
band Kroi .
Episodes
12 and 13 will have early screenings
As a
prelude to the premiere, an advance screening of episodes 12 and 13 will be held
on June 15 at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo.
This will be the first opportunity for some fans to see Taro Sakamoto's return
on the big screen.
An
expanding cast for new challenges
The first
part of the anime concluded with 11 episodes on Netflix ,
which also confirmed the streaming of the second part. Episode 11
introduced new characters with their respective voice actors:

Kaida as Dump
- Chiaki
Kobayashi as Apart
- Ryōta
Takeuchi as Minimalist
- Kōsuke
Toriumi as Saw
A high-caliber creative team
The anime
is directed by Masaki Watanabe ( Bartender , KADO
- The Right Answer ), while Taku Kishimoto ( BLUELOCK , Haikyu!! )
is overseeing the scripts. The character designs are by Yō Moriyama ( Lupin
the Third: Goemon's Blood Spray ).
During the
first part, the opening was performed by Vaundy with the
song "Hashire Sakamoto" , and the ending was
performed by Conton Candy with "Futsū" .
The
Sakamoto Days phenomenon
The
original manga began as a one-shot in Jump Giga in December
2019, and later became a regular series in Weekly Shonen Jump in
November 2020. The work is currently published digitally in English
by Viz Media and MANGA Plus .
The story
follows Taro Sakamoto , a legendary retired assassin living a
quiet life as a shop owner... until his past catches up with him. With a mix
of action, comedy, and family drama , Sakamoto Days continues
to cement itself as one of the most beloved series of recent years.
