The manga
adaptation of Gozennoryokucha ’s light novel series Falling
for Her Secret Side ( Ore wa Shiranai Uchi ni
Gakkō Ichi no Bishōjo o Kudoite Itarashii ) is coming to an end
soon. According to Amazon Japan’s listings, the seventh compiled book volume
will be the last in the series and will officially release
on July 11, 2025 (local time in Spain).
A love
hidden between pages
The story
follows Tanaka Minato , a quiet, bookish student who never
imagined he'd bond with the beautiful and aloof Saito Rena .
However, an unexpected coincidence leads them to share their passion for
reading through secret encounters. Meanwhile, Minato secretly works a job
outside of school, where he befriends his coworker, Hiiragi Rena .
The funny thing is, the more he gets to know her, the more familiar her
presence becomes...
The
closing of a story of intersecting identities
The manga,
illustrated by Ataru , began serialization in February 2022
on Square Enix 's Gangan Online platform .
Since then, it has won over readers who enjoy school romances with
touches of mystery and comedy . The sixth and seventh volumes will be
published simultaneously on July 11 .
A
success that also shone in the novels
The
original story was released in May 2020 through the Kakuyomu website
, and was later published by Hobby Japan , concluding with
five volumes in June 2023. The series is also available in English through
Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service .
With its
end in sight, Falling for Her Secret Side bids farewell as a
romantic proposition full of literary encounters, hidden secrets, and
adolescent emotions that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression
