The new Dragon Maid film reveals a trailer focused on Kanna and her father

The new film, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved, will be released this month in Japanese theaters, and fans can now enjoy a special sneak peek focusing on one of the most emotional aspects of the story: the relationship between Kanna Kamui and her mysterious father, Kimun Kamui.

 

The new trailer, titled "Father and Daughter Edition," offers a glimpse of previously unseen, emotionally charged scenes, highlighting the reunion between the two characters. The arrival of Kimun Kamui promises to add a new layer of depth to the story that so many fans have followed since the original anime.



A dream team behind the production


The film is directed by the renowned Tatsuya Ishihara at Kyoto Animation Studio, with a script by Yuka Yamada. The character designs are by Miku Kadowaki, who also serves as chief animation director.

 

The feature film adapts the popular original manga by Cool-kyou Shinja, published by Futabasha in Manga Action magazine. In the West, Seven Seas Entertainment distributes the series in English.

 

A Premiere Loaded with Expectations


The film arrives with great emotional weight, expanding the Dragon Maid universe beyond everyday humor and delving into the feelings of its protagonists.
