A
phenomenon that continues to grow
The
original JUJUTSU KAISEN manga was published in Shueisha's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine from March 2018 to September 2024, compiling a
total of 30 volumes. In English, the work is distributed by VIZ
Media. The animated adaptation is directed by Sunghoo Park and Shota
Goshozono at MAPPA, the studio responsible for bringing
the intense action and dark universe of the series to life.
A world
of curses and battles
The story
follows Yuji Itadori, a young man who, in order to save a
companion, ingests a cursed finger and becomes the recipient of Ryomen
Sukuna, the feared King of Curses. In this universe, curses are
born from negative human emotions, and jujutsu sorcerers fight
to control or destroy them.
Guided by
the charismatic master Satoru Gojo, Yuji joins the Tokyo
Technical School of Wizardry, where he teams up with Megumi Fushiguro and
Nobara Kugisaki to face increasingly dangerous supernatural threats.
