The
anime Takopi's Original Sin, based on the acclaimed manga by Taizan 5, has officially
concluded its six-episode broadcast on August 1. To commemorate
this closure, a final trailer has been revealed along with a
new illustration that puts the finishing touch to this emotionally charged
story.
The trailer
reviews some of the most significant moments of the anime, accompanied by a new
version of the ending theme "Glass no Sen", used
especially for the final episode. This combination seeks to provoke a last wave
of feelings in the fans who accompanied Takopi and Shizuka in their short but
intense adventure.
A visual
farewell with message included
The final illustration shows Takopi holding the Reconciliation Ribbon, as he tearfully bids farewell with a simple but powerful message: "Thank you, goodbye." This image encapsulates the spirit of the work: the search for happiness in the midst of pain and misunderstanding.
A manga
that left its mark and a faithful adaptation
The
original manga was published between December 2021 and March 2022 on
Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital platform, later collected
in two volumes. It is also available in Spanish through VIZ
Media and MangaPLUS.
The
animated adaptation was directed by Shinya Iino at ENISHIYA studio,
who was also in charge of the composition of the series. The character design
was in the hands of Keita Nagahara and the soundtrack was
composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa.
A happy
alien and a bit of a harsh reality
The story
revolves around Takopi, a cheerful alien who arrives on Earth with
a mission to spread happiness. There he meets Shizuka,
a lonely fourth grader, and decides to help her smile again by using her Happy
Gadgets. However, he soon discovers that human problems are more complex
than he imagined, and that true happiness cannot always be achieved with
magical solutions.
