During
a livestream dedicated to the Uma Musume franchise,
a new trailer for Taiyo Kuzumi's animated adaptation of
the Uma Musume manga: Cinderella Gray was revealed. The video
introduces the "international rivals" who will debut
in the second part of the anime, scheduled to premiere
in October 2025.

Broadcast
Details
The first
part of the anime premiered on April 6, 2025 on TBS and 27
affiliates, airing for two seasons with a break in between. The second part
will also be broadcast on the It's Anime FAST channel of
Samsung TV Plus in North America and on various international platforms such
as Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Anime Onegai in
Latin America and ADN in several countries in Europe.

Taiyo
Kuzumi's manga
began publication on Weekly Young Jump in June 2020. Shueisha released
their 20th compilation volume on June 18, 2025. The work went on hiatus on June
5 to prepare for its final arc and returned on July 17. The story focuses
on Oguri Cap as the protagonist.
Franchise
expansion
The Uma
Musume Pretty Derby franchise already has three anime seasons,
the Road to the Top special, the Umayon spin-off,
and the Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Shinjidai no Tobira movie,
released in May 2024. The popular mobile video game of the franchise debuted in
February 2021, arriving on PC in March of that same year and, recently,
in English on June 26, 2025 for iOS and Android devices.
