It was
announced that the manga Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land,
written by Marukawa, will be adapted into anime. A commemorative
visual was presented along with the announcement, although details about the
studio, the production team, the voice cast or the release date have not yet
been revealed.
Publication
of the manga
The work
began serialization on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha's Pash Up! site
in March 2022. It currently has five compilation volumes published,
while the sixth volume is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025
The plot
follows Keiko Sahara, an office worker whose hobby is designing gel
nails. One day she is transported to a world where the magic comes from this
art. There, a magical artist discovers her talent and makes her his apprentice.
