The
gender isekai it continues adding titles to its catalog of
adaptations. A special website was launched this Wednesday to announce the
light novel series Majutsu or Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf,
Moteamashita Jumyo from Ikeru Densetsu to Naru (A Reincarnated Elf,
Who Mastered Magic and Embarked on a Journey, Becomes a Living Legend With
Excess Lifespan), written by Monsho Sakakibara, will have an
anime adaptation for television.
Commemorative
illustration
To
celebrate the news, Kanco, the artist in charge of the manga
adaptation of the work, made a special illustration. Although the announcement
confirmed the project, details about the animation studio, voice cast or
release date have yet to be revealed.
The plot
focuses on Liese, an elf who in his previous life was an ordinary
man whose existence ended after an accident. Now, with a life expectancy of
1,000 years and regretting having achieved nothing in his past life, Liese
embarks on a journey to prove that he has truly lived this second chance. After
mastering all magical abilities and reuniting with a girl he once saved, he
begins an adventure that will turn him into a living legend.

released the original story on the website Kakuyomu in 2021.
The publisher Starts Publishing he published a volume of the
novel with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka in 2022.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Kanco, started on the website Novema in May 2023 under the label Glast COMICS. The first compilation volume of the manga was released in March 2024, and the fifth volume is scheduled to ship next November 28.
