About
the work
The plot
follows Akira Yagami, an ordinary employee who loses his life after
saving a child from a car accident. When he wakes up, he discovers that he has
reincarnated in another world in the form of a goblin, a creature whose
biological life expectancy is only seven days. However, after gaining a special
ability that allows him to prolong his existence, Akira decides to take
advantage of this extra time to defy the laws of his new reality and become the
strongest goblin in history.
The
original work, written by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by Tsukasa
Araki, began serialization on the Tonari no Young Jump digital
platform of the Shueisha publishing house in 2020. Its unusual
premise that mixes the skill progression system with fantasy comedy has kept it
a popular publication, releasing its fourteenth compilation volume on March 18.
