your Game Over screen. Kadokawa's comedy manga magazine Dengeki
Daioh G surprised the community by formally
announcing that the iconic manga Gabriel DropOut (Gavuriru
Doroppuauto), created by author Ukami, will reach its final
conclusion with the publication of its next chapter.
For those who enjoyed this fun gem, the plot
follows Gabriel White Tenma, a little angel with perfect grades who descends
from heaven to Earth to attend high school and guide humanity on the path of
good. However, all her sense of duty goes straight to hell as soon as she
discovers the vice of online video games, becoming a real slacker addicted to
the screen. The story gave us years of absurd comedy thanks to the hilarious
dynamic between Gabriel and his group of friends, where the roles are
completely reversed when they see responsible demons and chaotic angels living
a crazy school routine.
The path of this outstanding work originally
started in December 2013 within the magazine Dengeki Daioh G,
moving from a bimonthly publication to a monthly rhythm in April 2014. With a
total of sixteen compilation volumes released until September 2025, the franchise was
strongly consolidated in the public's taste, managing to make the big leap to
television with its own animated adaptation released in
January 2017. Now, after more than ten years of uninterrupted serialization,
Ukami is getting ready to give a dignified closure to the story of the lovable
and lazy heroine.
