If you like
school comedies full of entanglements, quirky characters, and a touch of chaos,
this is going to interest you. The production team for the animated adaptation
of the manga Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai
ni mo Ana wa Aru!) presented its first trailer, confirming that the series
will hit the screens on October 3. This trailer offers a sneak peek
of the opening theme, "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai," performed
by the popular group Sangatsu no Phantasia.
The story
follows in the footsteps of Mizunoe Ume, a student who ends up
joining the student council with the sole goal of avoiding repeating a year.
However, his plan to run a quiet course is ruined when he discovers the members
of the committee: between a distracted girl, an intimidating classmate and
another with secretly perverted tastes, the group turns out to be as crazy as
it is unexpectedly tender, guaranteeing a year full of absurd situations.

The
animation will be produced by the Passione studio, with Naoyuki
Tatsuwa directing. Ryo Imamura will oversee the
animation direction and adapt the character design, while Masahiro
Yokotani will be in charge of the scripts. The technical team also
added Hiromichi Ito in art direction, Arisa Komatsu in color, Junpei Takatsu in
photography, Satoshi Motoyama in sound and Tomoki Kikuya in
musical composition, supported by a talented group of animators including Kay
Yu and Konamingu.
The work
conceived by Muchimaro began publication in 2022 and quickly
conquered readers, winning first place in the print category of the Next
Manga Awards in 2023. After having an animated promotional short in
July 2024 and officially announced for television in April 2025, the franchise
is now ready for its debut in the fall 2026 season.
