If you ever
thought that train stories needed more college pressure and discoveries on
rails, get ready for a journey that mixes everyday life with colorful
encounters. The Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudo Musume has just
confirmed its premiere for October 2026. The animated adaptation expands
on the Tetsudo Musume franchise, which celebrates two decades and
already features more than a hundred girls impersonating real Japanese railway
company uniforms in games, merchandising and other media.
The plot
follows four train-fanatical college students who form the Tetsudo Ryoko
Doko-kai, nicknamed Tetsuryo or the Railway Travel Club. Overwhelmed by the
daily routine, they decide to seek adventures by visiting different locations,
visiting stations and meeting several Tetsudo Musume who work in
railroad-related roles around the world. The tone combines elements of everyday
life with the excitement of train rides, discovery, and light interactions
between club members and the cast of railroad girls they encounter along the
way.
Production
with experience in adorable camps and crises
The direction is in charge of Misuzu Hoshino, who previously worked as an episode director on Yuru Camp and directed Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! and The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious. Aya Satsuki serves as the series' composer and writes the scripts, with previous credits on Solo Camping for Two, "Ippon" Again! and Too Cute Crisis. The character design is in the hands of Hisanori Hashimoto, known for his work in the third season of Yuru Camp. The original music is composed by Sonosuke Takao and the closing theme "Watashi Miraisen" (My Future Line) is performed by the unity of the Tetsuryo club within the story. The original concept comes from TOMYTEC in collaboration with novelist Kisetsu Morita, author of I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level.
