Takano has published the manga on the Square Enix publisher Gangan Online website since July 2018. The publisher published the third compilation volume last October.
Gangan Online is a free smartphone site and app for publishing digital manga and light novels owned by the Square Enix editorial department. The site has been active since it opened on October 2, 2008.
Synopsis of Mamono-tachi wa Katazuke Rarenai
The story centers on Clara, a nun who offers herself as a sacrifice to appease the dragon's wrath that constantly threatens her region. During her journey to the dragon's lair and after seeing the state she is in, she tells herself that she only wants to die in a clean place.
Temporarily forgiven of the dragon's wrath, Clara begins to spend her days cleaning the den and teaching the dragon the importance of keeping her home clean and healthy.
