Uzaki-chan's huge breasts continue to generate controversy

While the protagonist of the series Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! , Hana Uzaki, had previously aroused criticism from a certain sector of fans in the industry for her “obscene body”, the aforementioned sector exploded in an added line in the anime adaptation, which expressed: “ You can hate whatever you want, but don't criticize what someone else likes . "

Although the community in general took this message in a positive way, interpreting it as a way to "coexist" peacefully without having to put toxicity in each comment (a utopia that we will surely never see), users who are constantly criticizing this series They took it as a challenge and started a wave of negative comments and reviews towards this franchise. Much of this criticism is directed at Hana Uzaki's "disgusting (?)" Design, and one artist on Twitter set out to re-draw it in "a more appropriate style."

The post by this artist known on Twitter as Cat ( @catlateral_ ) mentions: “ I re-drew this grotesque anime design and turned her into a really 20-year-old… The anatomy of the original design is too ugly for me. I also put a frog on his shirt as the original design is boring . "

Subsequent annotations revealed that the artist is indeed a girl, as he mentioned, “ Also, as a huge-breasted wearer, I can't tolerate those 'suction shirts'. Please artists, stop that trend, even a tight shirt doesn't move like that. ". He continued: “ I will not say more about it, but by God the problem here is not her breasts, I also have H cup breasts and I understand that they look like that. All I did was make a realistic t-shirt! ".
The comments that began to arrive at the publication came naturally from both sides of the spectrum, either from blind support or disagreement, as the artist insists on seeing the characters of an anime from a “realistic” perspective (in other words , adhere to your personal demands). Several relevant responses included:
  • Nah .
  • * The anatomy of a character THAT DOES NOT EXIST hurts you * .
  • If I wanted realism, I would come out.
  • I am 155cm tall and weigh around 128lbs. I also appear to be under 20 years old and adore Uzaki-chan because I finally felt represented. I've always been misunderstood as a girl of 16 or even under, and I'm actually 30. So I came to say that what she represents is real.
  • This series would be much better if it had the design that you made.
    • (Response) It would still be bad. It's a cheap junk comedy, and the design change wouldn't help at all.
  • This looks a whole lot better than the original.
  • This reminds me of the "ethically correct" drawing of Sailor Moon .
  • Finally real anatomy!
  • Using anime-generated drama and saying "I re-drew this disgusting anime design" doesn't make your art look any better. It is a shame that this is the path that various "artists" want to follow, degrading the art of others.
    • (Response) She has no talent anyway, just a big mouth. Her skill is lacking.

Repeating, this "redesign" is part of an ongoing hate campaign against the harmless anime character that has been going on on Twitter for quite some time, as many of the social rejections have claimed that the character "incites pedophilia," " it's not realistic ”, and all kinds of nonsense labels. Some of the comments that have been battered the most on Twitter include:
  • Uzaki-chan is a bait set for pedophiles, specifically because of the character design. The nonsense of "let others enjoy what they want" is only to justify their obscenities, the fact that they are of age does not change anything.
  • Uzaki-chan, the pleasure of pedophiles .
  • Uzaki looks like a minor and was designed to look like one. Stop trying to cover up the fact that you are pedophiles.
  • Uzaki has a girlish appearance and is being sexualized. Yes, there are many real women who look much younger than they really are, but this character was designed to look like a girl in all respects, removing her breasts, and that is very rare.

  1. As someone who loves art and studies it, the actually designs don't even look different to me. They have the same exact proportions, but they're in a different style. The only difference is the collar of the shirt. I don't know why anyone's making a fuss out of this, especially when there are literal child-bodied anime girls. I mean, if they were gonna complain about an anime character, it seems like they'd complain about them instead.
