A press
release listed that Yashiro ’s light novels , “ Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble:
Raising My Baby Brother With Memories From My Past Life ( Shirobuta Kizoku
desu ga Zense no Kioku ga Haeta node Hiyoko na Otouto Sodatemasu ),”
will be getting an anime adaptation. The release listed production details and
revealed that the anime is scheduled to premiere in the Summer 2025
(July-September) period in Japan.
Yashiro began
publishing the light novels through the independent service Shousetsuka
ni Narou in August 2018, and the publisher TO Books has been publishing them in
paperback with illustrations by Keepout since January 2020. A
manga adaptation by Youko Fujioka has been published through
the Comic Corona service since August 2020.

From My Past Life
In a
world where Western and Asian cultures are mixed, the only son of Count Kikunoi
of the Kiryuu Empire is Ageha. His life was already over at the age of 5. He,
who was born in a corner of the country, has zero allies or useful skills,
besides being overweight. What's more, it seems that his brother Regulus, who
suddenly appeared in his life and introduced himself to the Count as his
brother, will kill him in the future for his right to succeed. His only
weapons, are the skills of "cooking and sewing", which he suddenly
acquired along with the memories of his previous Japanese life.
In the
midst of all this, Agega ends up raising his little brother, but… “Is my
brother super cute?” And before he knows it, he turns into a loving older
brother… Making handmade educational toys for his adorable little brother and
delicious chawanmushi (steamed egg custard)… With the help of his skills from
his previous life and my power as a housewife, he is able to improve the hard
lives of the people living in his territory. A fantasy of two young brothers
managing their territory, where one step causes even the gods to get involved
in changing their country!
