Author Osamu Nishi announced through his Twitter account that he is working on a side story for his Mairimashita manga! Iruma-kun.
The story will focus on the character Kalego during his student days at Babyls' School of Demons. Nishi added that the serialization start date has not been decided.
For his part, Nishi began publishing the Mairimashita manga! Iruma-kun in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in March 2017. The publisher published the sixteenth compilation volume on April 8.
The work inspired a 23-episode anime adaptation released in October 2019 and produced by Bandai Namco Pictures studios under the direction of Makoto Moriwaki. A second season is confirmed for 2021.
