In the June issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, it was revealed that manga author Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu Mama, Matoba, will be releasing a new manga soon.

In the same edition, the aforementioned manga reached its end, just as it had been announced in March. For his part, Matoba began publishing the manga in the aforementioned magazine in July 2015. The publisher published the eleventh compilation volume in November 2019, and it was stated at launch that it was, in fact, the penultimate one.

The work inspired an anime adaptation released in October 2018. The adaptation had twelve episodes and was produced by LIDEN FILMS studios under the direction of Minato Kazuto and scripts written by Yoriko Tomita.

Synopsis for Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu Mama

Beelzebub is a great demon lord who rules over millions of demons. Meulin, who decides to serve the demon lord, learns that not only does Beelzebub not carry the bearing of a great demon, but she is also a laid-back girl who likes fluffy things.
