So great is Square Enix's love for the Slime, that a full line of themed products including teapots, salt and pepper shakers have been launched in the past. And for die-hard fans, a scale figure based on the character, 30 cm tall.
As a man of refined tastes, Japanese Twitter user @moritsuu is a proud owner of one of these figures. But where could such a monument to a Slime look? After some thought, Mori Michi decided that the most appropriate place would be in the same spaces that the Slime is found in in games, that is, in random locations outside.
"I got carried away by the excitement and bought the life-size Slime," Mori posted, "but the only way to put it is on the side of the road." Of course, not just any path would work, as Dragon Quest is a series of fantasy RPGs, so Michi grabbed her Slime and looked for spaces that radiate an atmosphere from the past.勢いで等身大のスライムを買ってしまったけど、道端に置くしか使い道がない pic.twitter.com/nQojAz7iH7— Mori Michi (@moritsuu) May 23, 2020
