It is a fact. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is coming to Switch, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android on August 27. This was the Square Enix reveal trailer earlier today:
What excited fans of the original for GameCube (2003) the most is that this new version will be cross-platform for up to 4 players. This means that they can join from any of these platforms, regardless of which one.
In addition to the visual enhancements, Square Enix promised voices in the characters (previously absent), new accessories and items for customization and change of appearance, more complex dungeons, as well as bosses and enemies with greater challenge and difficulty.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition will introduce the "Mimic" feature, which will allow you to change the shape of characters you meet throughout the adventure.
Initially it was thought that this premiere was only scheduled for Japan, but its premiere has also been confirmed for America and Europe.
