You and Idol Precure♪ Reveals Main Trailer With Its Theme Song

The official website of the upcoming movie Eiga Kimi to Idol Precure Omatase! Kimi ni Todokeru KirakkiLive! published its main trailer on July 13. This will be the 34th film in the long-running Precure franchise, and will hit theaters in Japan on September 12, 2025.


The teaser features the title track "HiBiKi Au Uta," performed by the five PrecuresCure Idol (voiced by Misato Matsuoka), Cure Wink (Minami Takahashi), Cure Kyun-Kyun (Natsumi Takamori), Cure Zukyoon (Yoshino Nanjo), and Cure Kiss (Miharu Hanai).



A new adventure in the idol festival


The trailer begins with the expressions of surprise of Uta and her friends when they receive the invitation to the Super Miracle Idol Festival, the number one idol festival in the universe, which will be held on Ai-Ai Island. There they meet Tera, a mysterious red-haired girl who hates idols. But the situation becomes complicated when sea monsters known as Yami Kurage appear, who turn the inhabitants of the island to stone. The five Precures must unite to face this threat and protect the brilliance of the festival.


Teams from previous seasons return


It has been confirmed that the main teams of the most recent series, Soaring Sky! Precure (20th installment) and Wonderful Precure! (21st installment), will make a special appearance in this film. Their presence can be seen at the end of the trailer, raising the expectations of fans of the franchise even more.

You and Idol Precure is the 22nd main series in the Precure universe, and it premiered in Japan on February 2, 2025. The Crunchyroll platform is currently streaming the series for subscribers in America, Oceania, and South Africa.


The story follows Uta Sakura, a high school student who loves to sing. Her life changes when she meets Purirun, a fairy from a land invaded by the Chokkiri Gang. To bring the world back to life, Uta transforms into Cure Idol, a legendary protector who struggles with the power of music.
