On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yukiwo, Jashin-chan Dropkick, it was announced that a special event will be held on May 28 at 14:00 (Japan Standard Time) the one that will announce a new project for the franchise.
Yukiwo has published the manga on the Flex Comix publisher's Comic Meteor website since April 2012. The play inspired a twelve episode anime adaptation produced by Nomad Studios, directed by Hikaru Sato and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Momoko Murakami, released in July 2018. A second season is currently broadcast on Japanese television, with the same production team, since last April 6.
