In the June issue of Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine it was revealed that author Eiji Masuda (Jitsu wa Watashi wa) will begin publishing a new manga in August.
The new manga series will be published from the September issue of the magazine, which will be published on August 12. For his part, Masuda published the manga Jitsu wa Watashi wa in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion magazine between January 2013 and February 2017. The publisher compiled the work in a total of 22 volumes.
The manga inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation released in July 2015 and produced by TMS Entertainment studios under the direction of Yasutaka Yamamoto and scripts written by Kenichi Yamashita.
