On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yui Hara, Kiniro Mosaic, it was announced that the event “Kiniro Mosaic - Waku Waku Party!” It has been canceled.
The event was scheduled to take place on June 27, however, due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19), the decision was made to cancel it. Furthermore, Yui Hara began publishing the manga in Houbunsha publisher Manga Time Kirara Max magazine in June 2010 and ended it in March 2020. However, a sequel titled Kiniro Mosaic Best Wishes began publishing this month.
The play inspired an anime adaptation by Studio Gokumi released in July 2013, followed by a second season released in April 2015. Production for an animated film is confirmed, but no production details or release date have been revealed.
