Voice actress Maaya Uchida posted an update on Twitter on May 5 during her presentation on AbemaTV's "Seiyuu to Yoru Asobi" (Game Night and Seiyuus). In this update, the actress was presented with a red backpack and a yellow cap, representing the classic children's uniform and in commemoration of Children's Day in Japan.
Uchida is a popular voice actress who is currently playing the character Katarina Claes in the anime adaptation of the series of light novels written by Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta (aka Hamefura). Maaya Uchida is also recognized for her roles as Rikka Takanashi in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai !, Hajime Ichinose in Gatchaman Crowds, and Ranko Kanzaki in The IDOLM @ STER Cinderella Girls.
For its part, the series Hamefura premiered on April 4 and is listed with twelve episodes. Keisuke Inoue is directing the anime at SILVER LINK studios, with scripts written by Megumi Shimizu and character designs by Miwa Ooshima.
